Pip's snack stand: an idle game to play online.
Most idle games online want a whole evening. This one wants two minutes. Bake snacks, hire help, close the tab: it keeps baking while you're gone, up to 8 hours. Press Bake a snack to start.
Why idle games online suit a two-minute wait
This one is made for the two minutes Claude Code, Cursor or Codex is busy: open the panel, collect what built up, buy one thing, close it. In the app, it keeps building while your agent works.

How the snack stand earns while the tab is closed
Like most browser idle games, Pip's snack stand works out what you missed when you come back, instead of running in the background.
- It saves as you play. Every 5 seconds, and again when you leave the page, it writes your snacks, your upgrades and the time to this browser.
- It measures the gap. When you return, it takes the time since that save, up to 8 hours.
- It pays you for it. That time multiplied by your snacks a second is added to your count, with a "While you were away" note so you can see it.
Upgrade costs grow 15% each
Every time you buy an upgrade, the next one of the same kind costs 15% more, rounded up. It's the classic curve of online incremental games: cheap at first, then a choice.
| Upgrade | Adds | 1st | 2nd | 5th | 10th | Pays back in |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Second oven | +0.5 a second | 15 | 18 | 27 | 53 | 30 s |
| Pip helps out | +2 a second | 90 | 104 | 158 | 317 | 45 s |
| Night shift | +9 a second | 520 | 598 | 910 | 1,830 | 58 s |
| Snack truck | +40 a second | 3,100 | 3,565 | 5,422 | 10,906 | 78 s |
Prices are in snacks. "Pays back in" is the first copy's price divided by what it adds, so a second oven earns back its 15 snacks in 30 seconds. A simple rule: buy whichever upgrade pays back fastest at its current price, and save for the snack truck once a night shift costs more than about 700.
Playing idle games online vs in the IdlePal app
This page is a preview. The real idle game lives in a panel under your MacBook notch and comes with the $9.99 unlock.
It opens when your agent starts
The panel drops from the notch while Claude Code, Cursor or Codex works, without taking your keyboard. Collect, buy, close.
It keeps building with the panel closed
Progress carries across waits. The next wait picks up where the last one stopped.
Collecting feeds Pip
Every time you collect, your desktop pet grows a little. Pip never shrinks.
One unlock covers more
$9.99 once unlocks the idle game, every game added later, and extra pets and scarves. No subscription.
Questions about the idle game
Is Pip's snack stand free to play online?
Yes. The browser preview on this page is free, with no account and no download. The full idle game in the IdlePal Mac app comes with the one-time $9.99 unlock.
Does the snack stand idle game keep earning when I close the tab?
Yes, for up to 8 hours. When you come back, it works out how long you were gone, multiplies that by your snacks a second, and adds the result. Time past 8 hours doesn't count.
Where does the snack stand save my progress?
In this browser's local storage. It saves every 5 seconds and when you leave the page. Clearing your site data or pressing Start over resets it, and it doesn't carry over to another browser or the Mac app.
Is this browser preview the same as the IdlePal idle game?
No. It's a small preview of the idea. The idle game in the app is still being made and is bigger, so its upgrades and numbers will differ.
How much does the IdlePal idle game cost?
$9.99 once, through the Mac App Store. That unlock also covers every game added later and extra pets and scarves for Pip. No subscription.
